ABOUT VACHETTA LEATHER

Vachetta leather is a premium cowhide leather with a buttery soft appearance.  Our Vachetta leather is sourced from a tannery in Tuscany dedicated to the ancient and artisan craft of vegetable tanned leather which uses all natural tannins from the barks of trees to colour and treat the leather.   Vachetta leather will absorb the traces of wear developing a beautiful patina.  Vegetable-tanned leather does not contain any toxic substance harmful to man and is highly tolerable for those who suffer from metal related allergies.

Vachetta is an untreated and unprotected leather.   Do not use any solutions or treatments on this leather.  Its beauty is in its ability to darken over time and develop a beautiful patina.  You may use a wax free leather condition to prevent the leather from drying up.

SIZE GUIDE

D.O.F uses European standard sizing. The chart below shows average international size conversions between European, US & UK sizing.  Styles can fit differently depending on constructions & patterns.

How to measure your foot easily at home:

1. Stand on a piece of blank paper with your bare feet (no socks).  It is important to be standing as weight is placed on your foot and changes the size of your foot.

2. Trace around your foot with a pencil

3. With a ruler measure the distance from the middle of your heel to the top of your longest toe

4. This is the length of your foot to use with the above chart.

ONLINE ORDERS

1. Do you ship Globally?

YES we do!  We offer international shipping to most countries.  If you are unsure please contact us at customercare@dofofficial.com 

All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Australia.  We use DHL for all international orders and will deliveries will require a signature on delivery.

* We are currently offering Free international shipping for all orders over USD250

A shipping confirmation email with your tracking number will be sent once your order is dispatched which will allow you to track and trace your delivery at any time.

2. How long after placing my order will it be shipped?


Please allow 1-2 working days from when your order is first placed for the warehouse to pick and pack your order for shipping. Our cut-off time for same day dispatch is 3 PM, (Australian Eastern Standard Time) Monday - Friday. 
Orders placed after the daily cut off or on the weekend will be shipped the following business day. Northern Hemisphere customers this may mean that you are a day behind our team due to time zone differences. Please take note of this when considering delivery timeframes, especially for express orders. 

Upon dispatch you will receive an email update with a tracking number for your order.

3. How long will shipping take?

* Standard Shipping:  4-7 business days to most major cities, world-wide.

* Non metro locations:  10-14 Business days.  

Note: There can be occasional customs or courier delays which may affect your delivery timeframe, these unfortunately are beyond our control. Please ensure your delivery address is attended during business hours to ensure you are able to accept delivery of your package. We cannot deliver to PO boxes. In most cases a signature will be required on delivery to confirm that the package has been received.  

 

4. International Duties & Taxes

Please note International delivery costs DO NOT include any duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be applied by customs at your destination country. Any additional charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
